Principal's Message

Greetings,

My name is Adam Liebow, and I am delighted to become a part of the Almond Grove family and serve as your new principal.  Our community has dedicated, talented members committed to doing what is in the best interest of our students.  We will continue to put students first and provide a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.

My professional background has covered over two decades in education including being a teacher, an assistant principal and a curriculum writer.  Almost all of my experience has been in public education in California where I have been able to teach both elementary and middle school, mentor new teachers, and lead teachers in various capacities.

I have been a part of the Oakley/Brentwood community for nearly twenty years, and have had the good fortune to raise my three daughters here.  As a parent, I raised my children so that they are able to have a positive impact on their surroundings.  Two of my daughters are now living independently working in their chosen fields, and my third, at 12 years old, is entering her final year of middle school.

I have already been hard at work to ensure a smooth transition.  During this time, I am learning about our school, community, and the unique needs of our students and staff.  I am committed to embrace all of the positive traditions and practices that are already in place at Almond Grove while working diligently to ensure  success for our students in the future.  Together we can help our children excel and provide them with an education that is exceptional.

I am honored to serve as the new principal for Almond Grove and look forward to meeting our children, teachers, parents, and community members.  My door is always open to everyone, and I sincerely welcome your input and support.  I am excited about all we will accomplish together for our children and look forward to celebrating our successes together.

Sincerely,

Adam Liebow
