Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Gehringer Elementary School.

Gehringer Elementary School is a safe and supportive learning community dedicated to developing lifelong learners and responsible citizens in a global society. Our mission is to support each child’s educational journey in a kind and inclusive environment. We believe in teaching to the whole child and helping students develop both academically and social-emotionally.

Here at Gehringer our motto is Kindness Begins with Me. Through the use of the Be Kind People program we strive to teach students the importance of acceptance and understanding of all differences, and to treat everyone with kindness.

In addition, we encourage students to follow “The Cubby Code” at all times. The Cubby Code is a schoolwide positive behavior support system centered around the 3 B’s, Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. Students are encouraged to follow these three basic principals in all aspects of their lives, both at home and here at school.
